We worked with the University of Michigan to boost awareness and increase the number of applicants for the Homeowners Property Tax Assistance Program. This program helps eligible Detroit citizens reduce or eliminate their property tax. Previously, people were unaware that the program existed and struggled to complete the complicated application process. The University of Michigan helped these citizens fight unfair property taxes preventing them from being evicted.
